The Chamber Golf Outing is a 4 person scramble that is a very fun tournament with lots of good prizes donated by the local chamber businesses. It’s a great tournament and we are always looking to add more people. Call Lacey at the Chamber Office to sign up! Open to everyone!!

1. In 2012, The Benson Golf Club continues our Member Growth Plan. This plan targets all of our members and non members alike to help us recruit new members. For every 2% in dollars the membership grows in 2012, a 1% rebate will be given back to all members with their paid 2013 membership. Example: if we grow 20% a 10% rebate will be rewarded when paying dues in 2013.
2. We also are offering a Long Distance Membership (LDM) to people who would like to be members and support our course, but live more than 50 miles out of Benson.  Single is $250 and Family is $350
3. First Time Members receive a 25% Discount when they sign up. FT Single – $430.00 and FT Family – $615.00
4. Â Member Referral- Refer someone to become a member and get paid to do it. Â $30 Gift Certificate for a single and $50 GC for a family.
5. Â Under 30 Memberships: Â For people under the age of 30 we have reduced prices even more. Â The cost for someone under 30 for a membership is now $430 (single) and $615 (Family). Â If you are a new member you get a 25% discount from this price which takes the prices to $322.50 (single) and $461.50 (family).
6. We offer Payment Plans with all of our Memberships, so if that would be a better option for you please ask about them. There is a form under memberships that you can fill out and bring in.

Thank you for joining us for our After Church Chili Challenge. Â We had 100 people join us which was a 25% increase from last year. Â Thanks again to all the cooks who participated and donated their time.

We will have companies from in town cook chili and you get to vote for the best ones. Â We will have 6-8 different kinds. Â The cost is $7, ($5 for 12 and under) this includes tickets for chili, cornbread, cookies, and a drink token. Â We hope to see you all here, we will have the football games on, so come on out and enjoy a great day at the Benson Golf Club!

This year we ran out of ribs early and we apologize to anyone who was unable to make it. We are taking steps for next year so this will not happen again. This day was such a success and so much fun for everyone that we want to be able to provide enough for everyone if possible. So hopefully we will have another beautiful day and everyone will join us again on September 8, 2012.
Our 4th Annual Ribfest will be held September 10th from 4pm-8pm or until the ribs are gone. The Blues Brothers will be playing.
We will again have 8 rib cooks as well as the Fry Guys with those amazing spuds as well as the caramel apple stand. This year we will be adding booths inside to sell other things to people in the community. We still have room available if you would like to be a vendor.
We will also be having a golf special which is 9 holes of golf a cart and $15 worth of rib tickets for $30. 18 holes is $35.
