After Church Chili Challenge – 1/22/12
Thank you for joining us for our After Church Chili Challenge. Â We had 100 people join us which was a 25% increase from last year. Â Thanks again to all the cooks who participated and donated their time.
The overall winner was a tie between
Robyn Abner: Personal Trainer and
Emily Habben: Chiropractor.
Thanks again everyone for coming, and we hope to continue to grow the event.
Join us for our after Church Chili Challenge.
We will have companies from in town cook chili and you get to vote for the best ones. Â We will have 6-8 different kinds. Â The cost is $7, ($5 for 12 and under) this includes tickets for chili, cornbread, cookies, and a drink token. Â We hope to see you all here, we will have the football games on, so come on out and enjoy a great day at the Benson Golf Club!
Bigg Dogg Big Cup Tournament – 10/15/11

In 2011 we have started a promotion, where if you put $400 down on a membership for 2012, you can play the rest of 2011 for free.
You may also get a cart lease for the rest of this year if you put $100 down on that.
These payments will be applied to your 2012 memberships and the balance will be paid when the season starts. If you have the balance paid off by Feb 1st, you would be eligible for our early pay program which gets you 6 free 9 hole passes. If you are paid by March 15th then you can receive 3 free passes.
Bigg Dogg Couples Tournament – 9/11/11
The Bigg Dogg Couple Tournament is on Sunday September 11th at 1pm.
Thank you everyone who played. This years winners:
First Flight – Paul Ness and Kim Ness
Second Flight – Rick Moesenthin and Cindy Steffen
The cost is $75 per couple and that includes golf, a meal and prizes at the end.
The format is a 6-6-6 game, with Six holes of Net Best Ball, Six holes of Alternate Shot, and Six holes of Scramble.
RibFest 4 – Summary and Plans for next year
Thank you so much to everyone who came out to play, as well as all the cooks and vendors, the committee who set it all up, and the Blues Brothers
This year we ran out of ribs early and we apologize to anyone who was unable to make it. We are taking steps for next year so this will not happen again. This day was such a success and so much fun for everyone that we want to be able to provide enough for everyone if possible. So hopefully we will have another beautiful day and everyone will join us again on September 8, 2012.
Our 4th Annual Ribfest will be held September 10th from 4pm-8pm or until the ribs are gone. The Blues Brothers will be playing.
We will again have 8 rib cooks as well as the Fry Guys with those amazing spuds as well as the caramel apple stand. This year we will be adding booths inside to sell other things to people in the community. We still have room available if you would like to be a vendor.
We will also be having a golf special which is 9 holes of golf a cart and $15 worth of rib tickets for $30. 18 holes is $35.
Hopefully we will see you all there.
